The 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. It will feature a new three-motor hybrid system and Acura's torque-vectoring Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive, along with 377 combined hp. The RLX continues with Acura's 3.5-liter V6 making 310 hp with variable cylinder management.
The 2014 Detroit Motor Show might make it seem like the Americans are getting all the exciting toys right now, but this new limited edition Bentley Mulsanne does its bit for those of us on the other side of the Atlantic pond. Called the Bentley Mulsanne Birkin Limited Edition, and based on Bentley’s range-topping model, it will only be sold in Europe, and is only available in extremely limited numbers. Range Rover Evoque Dakar Rally
Land Rover are pretty chuffed with the way the new Range Rover Evoque has been received; feedback from the trade is hugely positive and buyers are queueing up to grab the Evoque – even with its premium prices. So the news that the British Excite Rally Raid Team will be running the Evoque in the Dakar rally will be a nice bit of off-road gloss to add to the street cred the Evoque already has in spades. The Dakar Rally is the world’s toughest car competition, run over gruelling terrain between Paris and Dakar.
